Great Family Outing Our family fished with Captain Jeff for two days and made memories that will last a lifetime. Jeff put us on the fish, was patient with everyone, and was incredibly helpful. We all enjoyed his company and expertise and couldn’t have asked for more. If you’re planning a trip to Seward, I highly recommend calling Crackerjack Charters.

Best Fishing and Sightseeing Trip Ever! Captain Jeff treated us to an amazing day of sightseeing and fishing! While cruising to fish, we saw glaciers, whales, sea otters, sea lions, and puffins. While fishing we caught various species including some nice sized King and Silver Salmon! The night before, we put a half of a scopolamine patch behind our ear and another half in the am and had no issues with motion sickness at all! Capt Jeff is such a knowledgeable fisherman and outdoorsman that you can't go wrong with him!

Awesome experience for our whole family My family of 4 (daughter, 13 and son, 10) thoroughly enjoyed our day halibut fishing with Captain Jeff. We did quite a bit of research and chose Crackerjack not just because they were praised for finding the fish, but also because it seemed like they would work well with our kids. Our kids are pretty adventurous and fairly tough and they love to fish, but this was going to be very different. We knew it was going to be a very long day with the potential for cold and rainy weather and choppy seas, bigger and heavier gear than they were accustomed to, and no guarantee that we would catch a lot. We had a rainy and pretty bumpy 2 1/2 hour ride out and the fishing started out a little slow, but…. Jeff was determined to find the fish and he did. No trophy fish, but that wasn’t a priority for us. We all caught various types of fish and enough halibut to cook for dinner, share a bit with the captain, and fill up a 50 lb box to fly home with us. Most importantly, the kids had an amazing time and were so excited every time any of us caught something. They were so proud to reel in their catches and show them off in pictures. Jeff was incredibly patient and worked so well with them (and their parents - haha!) the entire day. This was an experience they will want to build on in the future. We would definitely recommend Crackerjack Charters and Captain Jeff and would use them again if we can get back to Seward someday!

Crackerjack is incredible! We had a family trip to Seward and spent a few days fishing with Crackerjack. Captains and crew we're outstanding. We had been planning our trip for quite awhile and they were so helpful in answering our questions and planning for a group of 14 people. Highly recommend them, you wont be disappointed!

Communication and customer service is outstanding! We booked a last minute Alaska fishing trip with Paula and Cracker Jack Chsrters. To start She was the only guide service that picked up the phone immediately. I asked tons of questions which she was able to answer and we booked a three day charter for myself and my son. Unfortunately the weather turned for the worse as we flew into Alaska and I can a voicemail waiting when we landed that we may or may not be able to fish. She explained the weather issues and she notified us promptly which saved our once in a lifetime trip, we are going to have to drive a few hundred miles to fish in another port in Alaska to out run the weather but without her being proactive we would have been stuck. We had prepaid for the three day trip and although we may have been able to fish that last day with her crew logistically it would have been impossible. She was super understanding and refunded our money along with helping us find another place to fish. Their customer service is outstanding and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with this service the next time we are in Alaska! Her communication saved our entire trip and I am so thankful for her kindness!

Absolutely wonderful experience! The sightseeing tour was unforgettable — we saw incredible wildlife up close, from whales to eagles, all in their natural habitat. The captain was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the trip feel both safe and personal. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting a truly special way to experience Alaska’s beauty.

Hanson Trip 2025 to Prince William Sound and Port Ashton Lodge 3 day trip to Prince Wiliam Sound. The captain and crew were excellent. Will book with this charter again! The vessel was very clean and had experienced crew.

Had a good trip. Clear day, little windy. Fishing was slow, but our Captain Jeffrey, worked hard to keep this group comfortable and chase fish. Although Silvers were slow, we still got several and many other great fish. Over all had a great day. The captain worked hard the whole trip.

Captain Nik and his crew took us out on the Voyager for a full day of salmon fishing. The entire trip was stunningly beautiful, everyone got their limit and the whales were absolutely incredible.

Did a 3/4 day combo fishing and sightseeing tour with our family group of 9 people, including 4 small children. Captain Vik, Preston and crew were great. We caught our limits, saw a glacier calving, saw whales and sea lions and puffins — it was amazing. Of course, the crew doesn’t control nature and some of that is luck of the draw, but the crew was fantastic interacting with us and the kids, happily going where we asked, circling backwards to get a closer look at wildlife we thought we had seen, etc. Thank you!

Me and my buddy went out with Jeff on July 2nd 2025 for salmon and rockfish and he was GREAT! We learned some regional WW II history (Barwell Island) on the way out and Jeff put us on silvers and rockfish till we got our limits of EVERYTHING.

We saw many whales, puffin, sea lions etc.

Awesome Halibut/Lingcod full day Me and a buddy went on a Crackerjack full day halibut/lingcod boat with Capt Matt on July 3rd 2025.Best fishing trip I've ever been on! Sea was a bit rougher than usual. He put us on Halibut first, then he put us on a rockfish bed that was twice the size of the boat (small) and we drifted off of it quickly but EVERY time we dropped lines we were on them.Then the most impressive part was putting us on Lings and all 6 of us had our 36 + inch fish in less than 10 minutes! Absolutely top notch!Don't forget to inquire about Matt's ZERO GRAVITY CABIN experience! Amazing! 😁Thanks Matt!Mike G
