Our popular Combination Charters are designed to allow you the opportunity to try for multiple species in one day. We offer combination trips that include Halibut/Salmon, Halibut /Rockfish, and Salmon/Rockfish.
These trips run 10-12 hours and allow our fast boats to reach distant fishing grounds that only the swiftest and most sea-worthy boats fish.
These trips depart at 6:00 AM and run until 5 or 6 PM or until your arms get tired! While we target two species daily on our combination trips, other species of rockfish, occasional lingcod, and even a salmon shark may be found.
On all our trips, we feature top-of-the-line rods and reels. Bottom fishing reels are freshly spooled with 50 to 80-pound super braid. For salmon, we use 12 to 20-pound rods and reels spooled with 20-pound monofilament. All the tackle we use is light enough to feel every bite. This gear keeps the sport in sport fishing. Besides great fishing, each trip provides unparalleled sightseeing and wildlife viewing opportunities in the Kenai Fjords National Park and the surrounding waters. Combination trips provide you with the best chance to see it all in a single day.
